the economy has boon and bust periods. it's a fact of life. at least they won't be eating pancakes like we had to back in '81. my pops was out of work for a year. not good when there's 3 kids to support. we've had 20 years good economy. time for a break. enjoy it while you can. soon we'll all be working 80 hour weeks and wishing we weren't.

you can still cheer for your bills in dc, wax, but you'll need directv's "sunday ticket" thing. the house prices here are an outrage, but the place is recession-proof. especially now with the republicans ramming that "homeland security" thing through.... plenty more IT jobs from that, no doubt. of course, the last thing this town needs is 2 more fucking lawyers! heh heh.
