I have the DVD of John Carpenter's The Thing and they included a documentary about the making of the movie, and the dog that comes from the Finnish station and turns out to be The Thing was a wolf dog. They talked about how everyone was very respectful of it.

I don't think I've ever been to Detroit, not this time around I can't remember. I know we were in Kalamazoo for a day. I remember we went for coffee the next morning after our show and Chris and I are standing in line and the girl is like "good morning how are you! What can I get you" and Chris and I looked around and looked at each other and we look at her and say "who are you talking to?"
