Reading back, it's you perrogative NOT to vote the same as it's your to vote for a candidate. Don't let them guilt you into voting, if you don't want to, don't.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 6:48:29 pm)

Heruka:
An not voting sends a huge statement to the officials. Not that they fucking care anyway.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 6:52:42 pm)

Decoy:
In my district, at 6pm when I voted, there was already 50% turnout. Not voting sends a statement that you're a fucking idiot who doesn't give a shit about the government. I hope they double your taxes, you moron.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 8:40:16 pm)

Myk Murphy:
if you're under the age of 40, it's critical that you vote. the reason is that old people, who vote religiously, dominate the political scene. it doesn't have to be this way. younger voters need to vote, even if they don't vote as a block.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 9:38:54 pm)

theo:
Amen! Myk Murphy.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 9:59:44 pm)

Heruka:
Most of the important issues that are inportant to me are going my way. We had some imprtant court and statewide issues that were important. Only one Fed. seat, whcih went to LaTourette(R) with something like 77% of the vote.
(Tue Nov 5, 2002 - 10:23:13 pm)

Morning those under a Republican leadership. It's a new day upon us. Everything and everyone I voted for went my way yesterday. Wonderful.
(Wed Nov 6, 2002 - 6:36:52 am)

Heruka:
I think I'm putting on weight. I'm finding flesh where once there was none.
(Wed Nov 6, 2002 - 6:38:10 am)

Myk Murphy:
Good morning. I wonder what stupidity awaits us with this new congress. Why do i get the feeling that the gop will delight us with school prayer and flag burning laws?
(Wed Nov 6, 2002 - 7:36:14 am)

Heruka:
Nixons America has once again spoken. Two major elections in a row and the Dems blew it. Perhaps people are tired of hearing empty promises of a better life for poor blacks and pandering to every fanataical left wing interest group. Possibly. You think so? The GOP is the more progresssive party between the two big ones at the moment. The party itself is swinging into a more moderate stance. You'll be voting Republican soon enough.
(Wed Nov 6, 2002 - 7:50:34 am)

Heruka:
Well, maybe not you. You're a government employee. And fear fiscal responsibility on the governments part. The job you save may be your own.
