Myk Murphy:
good morning, film and caffiene buffs. decoy's neighbor had a quarter keg at his daughter's birthday party? with the bratwurst and the drunken children and the hey hey hey...
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:37:24 am)
Chewing Wax:
Hey Cuscha.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:37:38 am)
Chewing Wax:
Hey Myk.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:38:11 am)
Myk Murphy:
howdy, waxboy.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:39:31 am)
Decoy:
Cool, eh? Have a blutwurst, 'always makes me feel better. Oh, and 'Morning wet slappers.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:39:52 am)
Decoy:
The problem was that the kids only drank about 12 beers at the party and left the rest for us to try to finish before the tap had to be returned. Kids these days .... its a shame.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:41:20 am)
Decoy:
One problem is that sippy cups only hold about 6 oz.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:42:05 am)
Myk Murphy:
bunch of goddamn lightweights.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:42:30 am)
Decoy:
I hear ya.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:42:53 am)
Chewing Wax:
Thanks for the fucking invite by the way Decoy.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:43:04 am)
Chewing Wax:
Which should be purchased first?
Blazing Saddles or Caddyshack?
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:43:47 am)
Myk Murphy:
a question for gb: so what happened on the train? was it a "you stepped on my foot" sort of thing, or something more substantive?
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:44:07 am)
Decoy:
If you have a tap, come over and we'll get right back to it tonight.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:44:18 am)
Myk Murphy:
caddyshack.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:44:25 am)
Decoy:
I would say Blazing Saddles, but that's almost too close to call. DANNEEEY you have to make a choice ...
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:45:31 am)
Chewing Wax:
I think I have a tap somewhere. I must have. One vote for Caddyshack.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:45:33 am)
Chewing Wax:
There is a collectors version of Blazing Saddles coming out in June, with a lot of junk, like a peice of Clevon Little's liver in a jar and a movie poster, but it's a little expensive.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:46:55 am)
Decoy:
Hold the Saddles and wait for lavish gift giving seasons soon to come.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:49:18 am)
Decoy:
I am particularly fond of the new lounge quote, by the way. That couldn't be more true.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:50:45 am)
Chewing Wax:
Too late. I bought them both. I figure get in on Amazon before they go belly up.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:53:03 am)
Chewing Wax:
If we follow that quote, we have to got to Myk's party and then to a Mets game right away.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:53:54 am)
Cushca:
Party?
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:54:39 am)
Chewing Wax:
It was a year and a half ago.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:55:15 am)
Chewing Wax:
And then it's off to Spain for the bullfighting
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:55:39 am)
Chewing Wax:
Which reminds me, the first part of Michael Palin's Following Hemingway is on tonight on PBS. Don't let me forget to tape it.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 10:56:55 am)
Chewing Wax:
Apparently it's not on here. Time for a murderous rage.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:00:03 am)
Sleepy:
Oh dear.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:05:47 am)
Sleepy:
I only saw one part of one programme. He was in a bookshop in Paris that doubles up as a kind of hotel.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:06:40 am)
Myk Murphy:
that was ages ago. i'll have to throw another party. as for heruka's clambake, i would have to be more than drunk to RSVP in the affirmative.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:07:09 am)
Decoy:
Listen .... its the sound of me keeping my mouth shut.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:09:32 am)
Chewing Wax:
I was all set to go to the clambake. I really was. Sleepy, when's The Making of Gormenghast supposed to be on here?
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:10:27 am)
Sleepy:
I don't know, CW. I've gone off it a bit now though.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:12:00 am)
Cushca:
That Gormenghast tatoo of hers really was a mistake. I tried to tell her.
(Wed May 3, 2000 - 11:12:45 am)
