bela:
Oh dear.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:38:31 pm)
Queenie:
well i tried to do a screen capture, but no luck.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:38:33 pm)
bela:
You've come a long way with your ART, I see more emotion surfacing in your characters. Interesting.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:39:09 pm)
bela:
Look, you've gone from I like Soup this much to Rejection. You are really evolving as an ARTIST.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:39:55 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Yes well. Thanks. I see you're a true patron.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:41:25 pm)
Queenie:
I really feel like you're not staying true to yourself with these new pieces, though. It seems like you're trying too hard to give what you think others expect rather than just being yourself.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:44:08 pm)
Queenie:
When you said "I like soup this much", I believed you. But now, you're just posing.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:44:40 pm)
bela:
Are you negating his ART?
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:45:58 pm)
Queenie:
Oh no, I'm just saying that he's not being honest with himself anymore. See, the difference between Dom and Wax is the difference between wannabe insane and wannabe cool. the fact that wannabe insane actually sits and spends time making these pictures isn't nearly as sad as wannabe cool actually spending time making these pictures.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:49:24 pm)
bela:
But really, how much time can either wannabes spend making these.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:51:15 pm)
Queenie:
I shall now sit back and wait for the Bela "loser" picture to be posted. Predictability... another sign of tired ART.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:51:33 pm)
bela:
Hey, I happen to love bela loser, it speaks to me.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:51:58 pm)
Queenie:
Beats me. I'm sure Dom's are faster since he does them on paper.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:52:20 pm)
bela:
Yeah but then he has to scan it to his computer whereas W just does it on his work computer . Its hard to say who spends more time really.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:54:05 pm)
Heruka:
Hmm.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:55:37 pm)
bela:
I don't know, his pictures had us in stitches that time. I think they're pretty funny.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:55:54 pm)
Queenie:
Plus Dom would never say anything as literal or heavy-handed as "rejection is hard to take". But "Soup" was abstract and satirical. Geez, I hope Wax hasn't peaked already.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:56:37 pm)
Queenie:
And the "Angst" one is an obvious rip-off
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 2:57:38 pm)
:
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:04:05 pm)
Queenie:
Well now you're just recycling old ideas.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:07:11 pm)
Queenie:
Yep, he's peaked.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:07:20 pm)
bela:
Its still amusing. I rike soup.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:12:17 pm)
Heruka:
Oooh. my belly. the sausages I had have declared a Jihad on my innards.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:12:19 pm)
bela:
fakinsanity, what does that mean?
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:12:33 pm)
Heruka:
it's stereotyping and racist.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:12:36 pm)
bela:
Whats the object of Jewish Football?
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:12:55 pm)
bela:
His teeth make me laugh.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:13:06 pm)
Decoy:
I find the synthesis refreshing. I buy my kids glitter crayons.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:13:22 pm)
Queenie:
yeah it's pretty damn funny, I admit.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:14:49 pm)
Queenie:
it's his little round belly that makes me chuckle.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:15:11 pm)
Queenie:
faking sanity, like faking that you're sane by surrounding yourself with material possessions, it's a poignant statement about the phony emptiness of the status quo.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:16:52 pm)
Queenie:
ok now I've made myself laugh. LOL even.
(Fri Oct 18, 2002 - 3:17:08 pm)
Decoy:
Yeah, but as Aristotle said, Its character as mimesis forces on it a profound ontological alienation from true reality.
