greetings, folks. forgot my stupid lounge-phone at home today. i glanced at the archives, so here it is: no, heruka, you won't pay 11.75% sales tax in virginia or maryland. in virginia, it's 4.5%, although northern va is thinking about a special half cent tax for road expansion. as for firearms, i've recreationally fired assault rifles, hunting rifles, handguns of various sorts, etc... but i'm not officially trained or anything of that sort. i've just had some friends who were really into that sort of thing. serious hunters. tonight i drove the length of fairfax county and back, but i didn't find the sniper. looks like he really screwed up this time.
