Chewing Wax:
It's better then CNN. I've been comparing. I'm sorry to say it's true. They get all the interviews now. I was watching for the scenes from Niagara Square downtown.

Chewing Wax:
They keep showing this trailer trash woman beating the shit out of her little girl. In slow motion. It's sick as hell.

Heruka:
CNN is really really bad. they were tourting that UN inspector last week who's contradicting the Bush adminitstration and the other inspectors. As it turns out, he's full of crap. CNN has been fighting for legitamacy for a while. years. they became nothjing more than a blowhorn for the left wingers during the Clinton years. completely embarracing themselves.

I read the Wall Street Journal. FoxNews.com on occasion, and C-SPAN. that's the limits of my world view as of late. I feel better when I'm not obsessing over world events.

Where did everyone go? it wasn't soup, it turned out to be a garbage truck turned over on 65th. it smelled delicious though like a fine cabbage and shrimp congee. very disappointing considering I made a lot of noise and nearly got arrested. oh well, have a good weekend. Auf!

(Fri Sep 20, 2002 - 10:47:12 pm)
Chewing Wax:
September 23 - Autumnal Equinox. Fall begins at 12:55 A.M. EDT. The autumnal equinox is defined as the point at which the Sun appears to cross the celestial equator from north to south. The celestial equator is the circle in the celestial sphere halfway between the celestial poles. It can be thought of as the plane of Earth's equator projected out onto the sphere. Another definition of fall is nights of below-freezing temperatures combined with days of temperatures below 70 degrees F. The word equinox means "equal night"; night and day are the same length of time. The spring equinox is in late March. In addition to the equal hours of daylight and darkness, the equinoxes are times when the Sun's apparent motion undergoes the most rapid change. Around the time of the equinoxes, variations in the position on the horizon where the Sun rises and sets can be noticed from one day to the next by alert observers.
