the boogie nights scene killed me because markie mark was performing... it's like that "rock star" movie he did a little later: some strange moebius strip of awful singing to film acting to awful singing...

Queenie:
The best part was when John C. Reilly was in the engineer booth totally rocking out while marky mark was singing. So funny. I want to watch that part so bad, just that part. And when they were arguing with the studio guy because they couldn't pay him. Heh.

Police: Sexual Predator in Calif. Could Strike AgainWed Jul 17, 8:28 PM ETBy Dan Whitcomb LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A 5-year-old girl who was snatched from her driveway was suffocated after she spent several terrible hours with her killer, police said on Wednesday, issuing a chilling warning to parents that the violent sexual predator will strike again soon. Reuters Photo Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona said Samantha Runnion, whose nude body was discovered late on Tuesday, about 24 hours after her kidnapping, died sometime that day after the murderer sexually molested her and cut off her oxygen by a means police would not reveal. He suggested that she was killed somewhere between her home in Stanton, California, south of Los Angeles, and the remote spot in the Cleveland National Forest some 75 miles away where the body was left as a kind of horrific "calling card" by the killer. Samantha's kidnapping from the driveway of her home as she played the board game Clue with her friend Sara touched a nerve across the United States, where the abductions of two other girls -- 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart in Utah and 7-year-old Danielle van Dam in San Diego -- have gripped the nation. Carona said the White House had pledged the resources of the federal government in hunting down Samantha's killer and Brenda van Dam, whose daughter was found dead three weeks after her abduction, released a statement of support for Samantha's distraught mother. The neighborhood of Stanton, a quiet Orange County suburb about 30 miles south of Los Angeles, saw few young children playing alone as spooked parents kept them indoors. An FBI ( news - web sites) spokesman said the killer's brazen abduction of Samantha in broad daylight and deliberate positioning of her bruised and naked body sent them the clear message that he would try to attack and kill another little girl, perhaps within 24 hours. "The way the body was found, the fact that it was not buried, not hidden, was almost like a calling card, a challenge, as if this person was saying 'I'm going to strike again'," FBI agent Richard Garcia said. SERIAL KILLER AT LARGE? Carona said Samantha had been sexually assaulted and that there was trauma to her body, but said investigators had not yet determined if she had been raped and would not disclose the manner in which she was asphyxiated. He said coroner's officials had established a time of death but would not release it for fear of interfering with police work. "It's apparent that the offender spent several hours with Samantha before her murder," he said. "The individual we are looking for may in fact have injuries to his hands, arms or face, but whether or not she put up struggle is still part of the investigation." Carona said there was a "tremendous amount" of forensic evidence on the body and at the scene of the crime that investigators were following up. The kidnapper was described as man of Latino appearance, with a thin mustache between the ages of 25 and 40 with slicked-back hair, wearing a blue shirt and driving a light green Honda or Acura sedan. But Carona cautioned that he could be expected to change his appearance and abandon the car as police closed in. Garcia stopped short of calling the murderer a serial killer, but said FBI profilers were certain that he had committed sexual assaults in the past and possibly killed some of his victims. "Based on the circumstances of how this child was abducted and what was at the crime scene, our profiles indicated that this person has done this before," Garcia said. The explicit warnings sent a chill through southern California, where parents were already traumatized by the daylight abduction of the angelic curly-haired Samantha. Samantha's body was found by two men on the side of a quiet two-lane road running through the Cleveland National Forest -- a remote area used primarily by hikers and hang gliders. The discovery came less than 24 hours after she was dragged kicking and screaming into a car outside her home, where she had been playing with a friend. Carona asked the public to look among friends and neighbors for any unusual or agitated behavior, or a person taking unusual interest in Samantha Runnion's case. "We are coming after you. The best thing you can do is to turn yourself in," Carona said, in a direct address to Samantha's killer. "We want this individual quickly, so no one else is hurt," he said.

Actually, I'm not sure I can deliver. Where is everyone these days. No-one comes here anymore. Must be because of that fancy theme bar up the street. I still prefer the lounge. It's alltogether darker in here.

You're the one who doesn't come here anymore. And your sister the mommie, its embarrassing. I remember when I got married and we had our first kid; all the bars we used to go to went out of business. Coincidence?

I think not. I'd love to have a bar. I think it would be great. If I ever get a bar, can I call it Decoy's Lounge?

You'll have to ask Mrs Dr. GB. Although there's a fine selection to choose from if she does decide she does want pictures put up. She was born eight days ago, and in that time, I have taken in excess of 100 photographs. I think I've gone insane.
