Father Huybers gave his typical incoherent drunken eulogy. He twice went off into non sequitors about the plight of the Punjab people in the jungles of Blarnia. In between swigs of his medicinal tonics, he whooped widely at the people in the pews, berating them for their hypocritical life styles. Finally he sat down heavily in the front pew and began snoring loudly. The pall bearers took over in confusion, almost dropping the casket twice and going out the wrong door.
