For Posterity:
Mike Schopp
WNSA – Talk Show Host
Mike Schopp arrived back home, in Western New York, the Fall of 2000 primed to be one of the most versatile and talented broadcasters in the market. The Grand Island native has used an array of sports and life experiences to become one of the most trusted voices in afternoon sports-talk radio.
As the host of the 2:00-6:00 p.m. shift on 107.7 WNSA, Schopp has quickly won the hearts and minds of the area sports enthusiasts with his extensive sports knowledge and quick wit. Fans have turned to Schopp for his amazing recall on current and former Bills, Sabres, Bisons and Bandits teams.
After graduating from St. John Fisher College with a Communications/Journalism degree in 1993, Schopp embarked on a media career by covering high school and college sports for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. He quickly rose through the ranks at the "Flower City" daily and landed a position as a feature writer for the Living section, reporting primarily on dating and relationships.
Schopp maintained more than a casual interest in sports and in 1995 started working part-time in radio. He spent time behind the mic as a play-by-play broadcaster for Rochester Red Wings baseball (1995), Americans hockey (1996-97), Knighthawks lacrosse (1997) and Buffalo Blizzard soccer (1997-99). In March of 1998, the Grand Island native was hired as morning sports anchor at WHAM-AM (1180), the top-rated radio station in Rochester. A year later he was awarded his own program the "Mike Schopp Show" on WHAM's sister station WHTK-AM (1280).

Sorry, never mind that, I just wanted to save it somewhere. Its personally funny. My favorite Radio Whore jumped stations again. I will follow him yet again, further increasing his worth in radioland.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 11:18:12 am)
Detlef Sping:

WHAM-AM (1180), the top-rated radio station in Rochester.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 11:54:41 am)
Decoy:
Sad but true. There's nothing better.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:04:54 pm)
bela:
I see some cute men on the train. I saw this cute guy standing in front of me on the train the other morning, I was sitting down and he was standing over me but I looked down at his shoes and saw he was wearing those boat shoes so I had to rethink the whole picture and then I decided he must be Polish - which isn't bad, but they're pretty severe.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:06:53 pm)
Decoy:
Women judge guys by their shoes. Its strange.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:12:11 pm)
bela:
I don't let running shoes scare me away anymore like they would have years ago. I don't mind men wearing them so much.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:16:12 pm)
bela:
ITs not so much that I don't like those boat shoes, which I don't, but they seem really really out of place in Brooklyn. YOu don't see anyone wearing them. I expect to see people wearing them on the Cape.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:17:14 pm)
Chewing Wax:
That was a dig at me wasn't it. The boat shoe thing. I'm not stupid.
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:17:59 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I'm wearing mine right now. With light grey thick wool socks. What do you think about that eh?
(Wed Jun 26, 2002 - 12:18:37 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Only because my running shoes got soaked by the leaking hose last night. Usually I wear those.
