I saw an advert for a dog shelter here this morning, and it actually made me cry. There was this mongrel, and his owners tied him up by the side of the road and then drove away. And then he was rescued and I was happy. And then it turns out the appeal is for money to pay for long term residents of this dogs' home, because you then see loads of people coming to choose dogs, and they keep passing him by and say 'no, I don't like that one - I want a puppy'. And he looked so sad. Oh, it was terrible. Just terrible. And I don't even like dogs that much.

We have Lollypop Farm here. That's how it works. We got our cat from there. She was about to get the needle later that day. Her crime was that she was 12 weeks old and not a kitten. Turned out to be the best cat ever.

Oak Ridge police are investigating a rash of auto vandalism stemming from incidents reported all over the city during the weekend. Police reports said citizens began reporting that someone had shot the windows of their vehicles with a gun on Friday morning. Oak Ridge Police Lt. Jack Mansfield said police have no suspects, just a box of kittens. Reports indicate that at least 24 people reported damage to their cars on Friday morning and three more called the police on Saturday morning.

Yeah, but it also feels good to give some poor old thing a better life. My dog Buster is the sweetest dog and he had a shit life on the street. Really bad, he almost died he was so sick and starved when he was found. You just wonder where the fuck this dog came from, I mean hes at least 7 years old. No one really knows because you don't know if the shitty life made him age quicker or what.

What? The point is, older dogs are mellow and low maitnenence. My other dog Kirby is young and he needs more excercise and attention. Buster is the right speed for me. But I have them both and I love them like crazy so I'm stuck with all my pets for a long time. WHatever, I love them. Tom loves them all too, he pretends he doesn't but he really does.
