I think education has more to do with the student than the school. At least at some level there's a cutoff, like a rural community college might not have the resources of a real university. But really, if you want to learn, you can get a great education for cheap. If its not true, I'm glad I didn't go to one of those pressure cooker schools.

He told Elizabeth, ''We know it's not justified in your mind, but once you go out into the world, valedictorian or salutatorian doesn't matter.'' But he himself wondered if Elizabeth was denied the top honor because of racism. He considered suing the high school, he said, but he didn't want to sour things with Daniel's graduation coming up the following year. And then Daniel ended up having to share valedictorian with ''let's say, two white girls,'' Cho Shin said.
