News:
According to the latest information provided Pentagon officials, the two U.S. F-16s from Kuwait were on a routine patrol when they reported they were under fire from the ground. One of the part-time pilots requested permission to respond with fire from its 20 mm guns, but the request was denied. The pilots then were granted permission to "mark" the target. As the planes were turning to mark the target, one F-16 pilot concluded the other was directly threatened by the ground fire, and made a second request to strafe. That request was also denied, sources said, but the second F-16 stupidly dropped a GBU-12 500-pound bomb to protect the first plane, reporting a "direct hit" on the happless Canadians below carrying on training excercises. President Bush, when informed of the blunder, mumbled something about being sorry as he scurried quickly from a press conference.

Yeah it's true, and the U.S. media are more interested in Robert Blakes murderous antics than reporting the killing of so called "Allies" by so called "friendly fire"
