Heruka:
I like moving brodges, particularly swing bridges. We only have one left in Cleveland. This one is in Rochester.

Cushca:
That's a bit too metal-y for my liking.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:43:17 am)

Chewing Wax:
I saw that e-mail from Nino. I was stunned and disheartened. They should fucking throw in some free stuff. That's what they should do.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:46:32 am)

Chewing Wax:
That's a hidious bridge.

Cushca:
You see? You know what pleases me. Why doesn't Nino? That letter was just so sincere and grovelly it's come full circle and sounds sarcastic. I'm surprised Nino didn't address it "Dear Mistress".
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:50:32 am)

Heruka:
It pivots in the center. That's the beauty of it. It's functional.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:51:06 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
I believe I speak for myself when I say: who the hell is Nino?
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:51:32 am)

Cushca:
Nino. Nino from cafepress.com who sent me the e-mail. It's all there.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:52:54 am)

Chewing Wax:

I walk under this bridge almost every day. It just sits there.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:55:11 am)

Myk Murphy:
I saw the ravens at the tower. They are fed delicious snacks all day and they wear heavy shoes. They can't leave, and they don't want to leave.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:55:32 am)

Chewing Wax:
It's their home eh? I understand.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:56:01 am)

Chewing Wax:
I want a tower raven.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:56:17 am)

Chewing Wax:
And a beefeater to stand in front of my house all day.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:56:40 am)

Heruka:
The little red one is my favorite. Theres a patio near it I like to sit at on a nice summer day and watch the bridge spin to allow an ore carrier pass. Although they closed the steel mill up the river, so no more carriers. Just pleasure boats.

bela:
If anyone cares, Paul Westerberg is going to be on Letterman at the end of the month, and hes playing at Virging Megastore. I think Theo and Myk will care anyway.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:58:19 am)

Myk Murphy:
Here in dc we have lame bridges.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 9:59:01 am)

(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:02:48 am)

They clips those ravens' wings. I saw it on TV.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:03:04 am)

Chewing Wax:
Hah! The real answer
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:03:27 am)

Heruka:
What's that little bridge? I'm not impressed with size. I'm not a size monger.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:05:40 am)

Chewing Wax:
It's a perfect little stone bridge in Delaware Park. An orignal Olmstead design I think. The ivy is gone now. That picture was circa 1908.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:06:38 am)

Chewing Wax:
There is a supernatural silence and quiet power when you stand under that bridge.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:07:55 am)

Cushca:
You sound like a stone-hugger.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:08:15 am)

(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:10:34 am)

Heruka:
I meant that little steel bridge in the same pic as the Peace bridge.
(Fri Apr 19, 2002 - 10:13:14 am)

I used to work in a building right at the end of that bridge. I used to eat lunch on it all the time. In fact, the Genesee Brewery is on the other end.
