Mrs Dr GB:
Ah, Bird, herein lies the dilemma: the Wax Way or the Heruka Way?
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 11:45:42 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
In any case: I'm buggering off home. Goodbye, everyone.

Hey, when the Bird's in this new job, she'll be leaving work just after me. And on some days, before me. How weird is that?
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 11:46:17 am)

Chewing Wax:
Too weird. Bye.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 11:46:56 am)

Heruka:
Don't let them fool you GB, I'm a whole lot smarter than they want you to believe. img src="http://www.3pc.co.uk/Iri9505.jpg">

Queenie:
Hey, the lounge is back!
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:03:18 pm)

Cushca:
Yes. Yes it is.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:05:00 pm)

Queenie:
I sent Sidney off to school today in a new pair of pink and black Old Navy snakeskin flares. I'm so glad I have a girl, it's like having a barbie doll for real.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:06:21 pm)

Queenie:
I should savor these years, when she thinks the clothes I pick are actually cool... before she starts wearing stuff that I find appalling.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:07:05 pm)

Cushca:
That's nice.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:09:16 pm)

Queenie:
I finished my revision saturday night. Always a rush followed by a sort of mellow let down.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:14:19 pm)

Queenie:

(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:20:36 pm)

Queenie:
I have to do an interview today for POMN. I haven't the faintest idea what to talk about.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:24:16 pm)

Queenie:
My advil can kick in any time now. Really.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:35:25 pm)

Myk Murphy:
The "exit interview" is very popular around here, and the heruka option is best. Unless you intend to target a specific bad manager, the "my time for growth" crap works well. The interview serves them, of course, and not you.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:54:35 pm)

bela:
I had to go on an exit interview at the last job and I'm telling you I really swallowed my venom because you never know.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:57:03 pm)

bela:
Is this weather normal? Greenhouse effect or regular changing weather patterns?
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:57:40 pm)

:

(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:58:58 pm)

:
Everything is perfectly normal. Do not be alarmed.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:59:35 pm)

Queenie:
greenhouse effect my eye. It's cold as fuck here today.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 12:59:45 pm)

Queenie:
Is that child wearing pretend dynamite??
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:00:06 pm)

Decoy:
So, Heruka, ole buddy, been burned at reference letter time? Mom always said, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. That has to be one of the ten best rules.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:01:31 pm)

Decoy:
Yeah, she's a bomb.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:01:50 pm)

Queenie:
I'm going to have fucking nightmares for weeks about that photo. That is seriously one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen. It's the peace sign that really fucks with my head. That really is a world I just do not understand.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:05:39 pm)

Decoy:
Curious, Loony Toons always had the dynamite colored red. Maybe that's just ACME brand dynamite.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:13:56 pm)

Cushca:
I dreamt I had a pet seal the other night. Except it was the size of a walrus. It was a very affectionate pet. It liked me to rub it vigorously.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:14:20 pm)

Queenie:
Counter-point

(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:28:57 pm)

Cushca:
When will my merchandise arrive? I long for my hat.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:29:49 pm)

Queenie:
I posted that TNT girl's picture on another forum, and someone said something about her "Goodbye Kitty Belt" and I laughed, certain I will burn in hell forever.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:50:34 pm)

Myk Murphy:
A few years ago i left company x to work for company y. Three months later, "x" announced that it was buying "y". Good thing that i left x on good terms. The second time i left x, it was on my own terms.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 1:59:10 pm)

Myk Murphy:
Three words: blame the saudis. They make these kids. They pay for goodbye kitty belts. They held a telethon for terror just a few days ago.
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 2:06:16 pm)

Queenie:
Was it anything like the Jerry Lewis Telethon?
(Mon Apr 15, 2002 - 2:14:13 pm)

Heruka:
I left a company in very terms once. It was a 6 months long drag out battle, in the end, the buckled and fired me before I could quit. While out looking for a job, I had an interview witha spectacular aerospace firm. The interview went great, we got along, the pay was splendid, I was qualified in most asppects of the position, he only needed to contact my references. He never called back. My old employer was to blame, I know this to be true. I have that gut feeling. Well, actually I was to blame. I would have loved that company. They're huge now. Twice the size they were. I could have ben making serious bucks, instead, I'm poor.
