m©:
C'mon, I know you're there, I can hear the Dr Pepper sloshing..
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:19:51 pm)

Chewing Wax:
We always knew this could happen.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:21:38 pm)

m©:
Wax, did you find the rest of the Falls 'Cheetham' satisfying?..I havent heard that one(1997)..Palace of swords reversed' and 'This nations saving grace' are also worth getting..as well as the others I mentioned..I like all their stuff tho'.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:26:37 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yes. I liked it very much. I saw both of those in the bin. Are people on this board into XTC? I know nothing of their work but the new people on the BSDR seem to be transplanted XTC fans.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:30:41 pm)

m©:
yeah, I like xtc and the Dukes of stratosfear..
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:32:33 pm)

m©:
The 'Dukes' was an album put out by XTC under a fake name if you ever see it GET IT.. it is very well put together..faux Floyd, Beach Boys, Hollies,..etc.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:35:57 pm)

Sleepy:
Swindon's finest.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:36:17 pm)

Chewing Wax:

(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:36:41 pm)

Sleepy:
One day I will sing the end part of their song Mayor of Simpleton correctly.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:36:56 pm)

Myk Murphy:
yes, i'm here. yeah, we've put a few things on tape, although i'm not sure if it's ready for prime time. i'll try to get something good out to you all soon. in the meantime, it has been determined that i will be singing one of the songs on our setlist. due to the magic of reverb and other effects, this may not be a total disaster.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:37:03 pm)

Sleepy:
Singing Myk. How wonderful.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:37:29 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I think you have a lovely speaking voice Myk.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:37:32 pm)

Sleepy:
Can I send over some harmonies by post?
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:37:42 pm)

Myk Murphy:
dukes of the stratosfear album was amazing. it was oft-played during my high school days.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:38:03 pm)

Sleepy:
Me and Cushca and GB. Cackling.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:38:07 pm)

m©:
Oh there you are.Sleepy do you know of the Fall?
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:39:54 pm)

Sleepy:
I know of them yes. But I haven't got any of their stuff. The main thing I know is that Mark E Smith and Julian Cope used to feud.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:40:38 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Is this what you're talking about?

(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:40:50 pm)

Sleepy:
Guess whose side I was on?
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:40:54 pm)

Sleepy:
I quite like MES's whiney voice though. A good voice is important.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:41:20 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I'll bet you were a Cope girl
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:41:43 pm)

Sleepy:
And now I have a Fall song stuck in my head. Sigh.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:41:46 pm)

Sleepy:
Along with the cake and babies.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:41:55 pm)

Myk Murphy:
MES's voice is unbearable. cope is hardly better, of course. giggle. yup, wax, that's the album.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:42:38 pm)

m©:
Heh..which one?
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:43:31 pm)

Sleepy:
I'll poke your Lasik eyes out if you're not careful Mykey boy.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:43:45 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yikes.
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:44:27 pm)

Sleepy:
I was really hoping you wouldn't ask the name of the song because I don't know what it's called. Listen. I'm humming it now. Do you recognise it?
(Wed Mar 22, 2000 - 12:44:29 pm)
