Chewing Wax:
I don't know what a babycham is
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:11:31 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
It's a drink that's so unutterably naff that it comes all the way back round and is fabulous again. Very kitsch, very 70s. It was the first drink marketed especially for women.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:17:29 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
See how lovely the Babycham paraphernalia is?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:17:49 am)
Chewing Wax:
I'll take a shot of bourbon and a beer.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:21:00 am)
Chewing Wax:
Okay. Two shots. But I'll use those glasses if it will cure my foot.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:21:24 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
Oh it will. The glasses are magic. And if you put the deer on your windowsill it will ward off evil with it's cheery demeanour.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:23:40 am)
Chewing Wax:
It's hard pear juice?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:30:49 am)
Chewing Wax:
It's Opening Day in the International League. That's got to be worth celebrating.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:34:37 am)
bela:
Ok, I'm starving. I had a bowl of Raisin Bran and a Snack Pack pudding for dinner last night.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:40:08 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
What time is it with you now?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:40:39 am)
bela:
Decoy, I haven't heard from stupid Johnny yet. Maybe I will just call the web people and find out whats going on, or I'll call Johnny later.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:40:42 am)
bela:
9:40 in the morning.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:40:59 am)
Chewing Wax:
It's 9:40am. We switch the clocks forward Sunday at 2:00am
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:41:15 am)
Chewing Wax:
I'm worried about Decoy. Has anyone checked if he's breathing?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:41:42 am)
Chewing Wax:
Have you lot switched your clocks forward already? Is it summertime there?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:42:02 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
Well that's fine; still a perfectly respectable time for breakfast. Off you go. If it was 9.40 for me and I was hungry I'd go off and get myself either a cherry muffin and coffee or a crispy bacon toasted sandwich. And coffee.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:42:09 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
Yes, we switched forward last weekend. And it was instantly summer. Amazing. I went out at lunchtime without a coat. And believe me, that's quite something.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:42:39 am)
Chewing Wax:
Mmmm. Bacon.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:44:00 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
We have been told that we must observe 2 minutes silence on the day of the Queen Mothers funeral. We must. There is no choice in this matter.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:47:59 am)
Chewing Wax:
Shhh
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:50:08 am)
bela:
I don't believe Decoy gets as drunk and as often as he braggs about. He seems to responsible to do that. You know, with a wife and kids and all that. His kids look to clean for that kind of thing, not little scum bags like the kids around my neighborhood.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:58:55 am)
bela:
too
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:59:09 am)
Chewing Wax:
That's how he does it. He gets those little girls in bed at 7:30pm and has the whole evening to drink. He's worked it all out. It's brilliant.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 9:59:45 am)
bela:
Really? In the summertime, you see little kids riding their bikes around the east village at all hours of the night - I mean like kids under 10 years old at 1 -2 in the morning. Its sort of sad, these kids live in tiny little apartments and theres no way to escape the heat.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:03:38 am)
Chewing Wax:
And he's getting a pool. He's got it all worked out.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:06:19 am)
Chewing Wax:
Nothing like swimming to tire out the kids.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:10:56 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
4.20. I'm bunking off early, again. Ah, sod it. I work hard when the boss is here.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:22:13 am)
Chewing Wax:
Good night. Tell your sister I hope she feels better.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:23:48 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
Which one?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:27:16 am)
Chewing Wax:
You have more than one sister?
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:28:03 am)
Mrs Dr GB:
No. But I thought I'd say that. I'm being flippant. And now I'm off. Ta-ta.
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:29:58 am)
Chewing Wax:
Cheeky monkey
(Thu Apr 4, 2002 - 10:30:17 am)
Chewing Wax:
Now I suspect a third sister. A family secret, kept out in the shed, away from the light.
