I didn't want to be negative.

Decoy:
It should go on the left. I suppose. I'll keep tying things.

Chewing Wax:
Hey. It stopped downloading on it's own that time. It's already getting better.

I fear change.

We're also looking at the trouble of updating a newspage regularly. That's work. Perhaps too much work. Considering no-one is getting paid to do it. I haven't done much at all today. Nothing. I'm too weak and exhausted from the lack of food. Goodnight.
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:05:39 pm)

Queenie:
I'm sure it updates itself.
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:07:46 pm)

Queenie:
my goal is to make pomn totally automated, so updates take a few minutes instead of several hours. This is my dream.
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:09:49 pm)

Queenie:
Ugh. I just looked up the stats on our neighborhood high school. Over half the student body does not meet state requirements in reading and math, which are probably set moronically low to begin with. Great.
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:20:11 pm)

Decoy:
I haven't updated the POMN link, you think I'd run a news feed?
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:36:43 pm)

Decoy:
The site we built at work is like that. Its all modular and database driven. With places to enter articles, news releases, etc. Its heavy duty. All ASP and VBScript. Too bad the lounge is on a linux server.
(Tue Apr 2, 2002 - 5:39:35 pm)

Queenie:
what is your site at work? Is it public? I wanna see!

This is just my drunken novice opinion..I think it would be more expedient that when you click the News links on the right, they pop up in the CEnter (where the chat takes place)..then Click the DEcoy Lounge Logo on the upper left hand corner to return to Chat...visa via the links popping up in a whole new window...hic up.

Britain's pet passport scheme could be extended to the US and Canada next year if ministers give the go-ahead, reports say.
The scheme allows animals from an approved list of countries to avoid undergoing six-month quarantine periods.
The two-year-old scheme currently operates for animals travelling from Europe, Australia, and Japan.

There is a very large local used car empire owned by a guy called Scott Thomason. Over the years, he has become a sort of local icon through the use of humorous and bizarre ad campaigns. His latest campaign has been promoting "the greatest used car commercial of all time" which is supposed to air in the fall. But they have been releasing a series of commercials leading up to the big one in the fall that are all about the director "Santo" - played by Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall. They are some of the funniest commercials I have ever seen in my life. I can't even begin to describe them. But it's just pure brilliance. I find myself extremely excited about the "greatest used car commercial of all time" which is only 218 days away!
