Chewing Wax:
See. I hate that photograph.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:32:28 pm)

Queenie:
Really? How come?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:34:00 pm)

Queenie:
I think it's fan-fucking-tastic.

Heruka:
to become self absorbed, you think of how you relate to the world. not how the world relates to you. when I figure how the world realtes to me, I'm projecting inward, absorbing the info. It's how interpretations and opinions are formed. when I think of how I relate to the world, I'm looking outward and projecting myself to the world around me. if I give a homeless person 10 because it makes me feel better, I'm projecting out. I'm exiting myself to make me feel better.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:34:43 pm)

Queenie:
I like that la chapelle fellow too. He's pretty out there.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:35:40 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It's very ugly to me.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:36:24 pm)

Queenie:
Explain, goddammit!
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:36:50 pm)

bela:
This crazy girl Marietta is his color person. I can't stand her, she puts on this I'm weird act.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:36:54 pm)

Queenie:
bela what are you talking about?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:37:47 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It makes my skin crawl
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:39:13 pm)

Queenie:
Is it just the naked man thing that bugs you?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:40:01 pm)

Chewing Wax:

This is my favorite photograph. Could be my favorite image.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:41:19 pm)

Chewing Wax:
No. It's the way he's clinging to her.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:41:57 pm)

bela:
LaChapelle, I know the girl that does his color for him, gets his color prints done. I guess shes really good.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:42:25 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I hate Yoko too. That doesn't help.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:42:31 pm)

Queenie:
That's nice, but why would someone photograph a sunset in b&w?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:42:51 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It's not a sunset. It's a moon rise.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:43:17 pm)

Queenie:
I don't really see it as clinging so much as... sort of... curling. I don't know. But I can see how if someone hated yoko they could easily hate that picture. But I don't hate Yoko. And that photo fills me with such sadness and stuff. *sniff*
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:44:17 pm)

Queenie:
What's the difference between a sunset and a moon rise?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:44:41 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Fills me with disgust. But I wouldn't call it a bad photograph.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:45:05 pm)

Chewing Wax:
What's the difference between a sunset and a moon rise?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:45:19 pm)

Queenie:
Heh. I understand.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:45:21 pm)

Queenie:
The sunset picture is nice, but I just don't care much about landscapes.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:45:42 pm)

Queenie:
I can look outside and see that any night. Show me something I DON'T know.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:46:04 pm)

bela:
Its that Ansel Adams contrasty thing. Moon suspended low over a sleepy little Mexican Village. It has a lot of elements that are appealing.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:46:25 pm)

Queenie:
Hey, here's a question. Do you think the pictures taken by a telescope like Hubble are art?
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:46:35 pm)

bela:
Or is that Peru? Who knows.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:46:56 pm)

Queenie:
I guess I would just rather look at people than a sleepy village. I like people.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:47:12 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Eventually you notice the cemetery.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:47:21 pm)

Queenie:
Eh.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:47:59 pm)

Queenie:
I'll take the yoko.
(Thu Mar 7, 2002 - 4:48:07 pm)

Queenie:
But I'm a pop art junkie.
