Ive been sourcing a trip to Edinburgh with the kids to show them what a daft bunch they sprang from..but it's so expensive I think I'll just take a tent and set it up at McLuedts Castle..
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 12:58:48 pm)
Chewing Wax:
That's much more authentic anyhow. I want to visit Loch Ness and swim in it's inky black ice cold waters.

Cushca:
My nan is going to Scotland in a couple of weeks. Her and a busload of other pensioners. They behave very badly you know, considering they've probably got about 1000 years and 17 false hips between them. She's got one of those hook things on the end of a stick that people with arthritis have for picking things up from the floor. She's already perfecting her kilt-hoisting technique with it. These are my genes.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:04:12 pm)
m©:
I was in Preswick once ..just long enough to get off the plane and get a drink of water. I didnt swim in anything.

Dr. Punctilio had the dinosaur extinction in mind when he proposed the current research. In the 1980's, he proposed a controversial theory that the Sun has an unseen companion star, which he called Nemesis, that orbits the Sun every 26 million years and periodically knocks comets out of their orbits, sending them hurtling through the inner solar system. This might, he said, explain the apparent 26-million-year cycles of widespread extinctions, including the one that doomed the dinosaurs and cleared the way for mammals. With the burning sky and the rain of molten rock and the hey hey hey it burns me.

I had a Nan too she was born in Edinburgh castle at #15 Johnston Terrace..she got a pension all her life for being born in the castle..Her dad was a master tailor/Kilt maker for the Black Watch. That is one of the reasons we'd like to look up some shocked relatives..
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:10:01 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Is there gambling in Scotland? That's the only place busloads of pensioners go in the States. They go gambling. And they mean business.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:10:36 pm)
m©:
I know of Nibiru..3600 year apogee.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:12:09 pm)
Cushca:
Shocking relatives is an excellent idea. And no. No gambling. I think my nan is going for the wild and crazy dancing, the drink and the men.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:12:17 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Those are very impressive blood lines mooch. Are you sure the kids are ready for this?
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:12:38 pm)
m©:

(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:12:41 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Kilt wearing men
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:12:59 pm)
Cushca:
No. No bingo. They're going to stay somewhere pretty remote. By the side of a loch, or something. Near a castle. So that narrows it down.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:14:56 pm)
m©:
It was accidental, my Nan being born there..Great Grandad was stationed there. I sent away for the documentation years ago because I was going to move there and needed proof of Grandpatronization citizenship crap.. I was stunned at the letter I got back from the Castle.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:17:14 pm)
m©:
I'm sure McLuedt can show your Nan where to gamble. I'm sure of it.
(Tue Mar 14, 2000 - 1:19:47 pm)
