Heruka:
Yes, you can compare them. At least in the means that they're both pizzas anyway. But you're right, deep down, there's no comparison. Ones edible, one's not.

Myk Murphy:

(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:35:27 pm)

(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:36:49 pm)

bela:
Sicilian is always good.

Detlef Sping:
Corsica. It's a long boring donkey trip through the mountains but the crust is chewy! I wonder, is it by including an egg in the flour dough? you must know bela, how do you make the best pizza dough?
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:38:10 pm)

Heruka:
Of course I know what I'm talking about. sbarros is good pizza. It's the bacteria groeth that gives it that special flavour that I love.
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:38:41 pm)

bela:

(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:38:52 pm)

Myk Murphy:
i wish i had the pizza when i was in chicago's little italy. i think i had pasta. i had this subconscious feeling that i was going to get rubbed out before the end of my meal. that's always fun.

Heruka:
Yes. There's a place nearby that makes a great pizza, olive oil between layers of pizza crusts, and real sausage. Not that little sausage that looks like gray rabbit turds that pixxa places try to pass off these days. .
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:40:25 pm)

Heruka:
That gives me an idea.
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:40:59 pm)

(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:42:40 pm)

Detlef Sping:
Maybe it's the high gluten flour. Semolina or something. The cheap places use this crust that tastes like Tea-Bisk.
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:42:50 pm)

Heruka:
everyones promoting new york style crap, and now pizza hut has a saltine cracker type crust. what a joke. it's dirt cheap for them I bet. The art of pizza has diminished over the years. I haven't seen a fresh tomato on a pizza in decades.
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:44:58 pm)

Detlef Sping:
Crispy and really thin?
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:46:05 pm)

I'm not fond of seafood or fish on pizza. it's quite wrong.
(Tue Feb 26, 2002 - 4:49:31 pm)

Heruka:

NY style pizza is head and shoulders the best. Chicago style isn't even pizza. The problem is you can't get it done right anywhere. Sometimes you can't even find it done right in NYC.
