Fuckers. My mother hurt her back playing tennis last year, and they went to the ER, and they said she fractured her spine and then sent her home and told her she couldn't hurt it any more, and it turns out she had nerve compression and she was lucky she didn't paralyze herself. I hate doctors.

No, nothing. They gave him a shot of morphine, a shot of painkiller and a muscle relaxer and told us they couldn't do anything else. The doctor said he should see a neurologist and gave us the name of a really good Ortho surgeon, who we have an appt with on Tuesday.

Her broken spine was loose and part of it was pressing on her spinal chord and it could have sliced it in two if she had moved wrong. They just sent her on home and told her she would need a neck brace later on.

When she came back the next day for the neck brace, they figured out what was going on and admitted her and wouldn't let her move. She needed major surgery.

My mom went to the emergency room within one of hospitals in our county with breathing problems. They gave her medicine for her asthma. As it turned out she had a collapsed lung. Hadn't we took her to a real hospital outside our county immediately leaving that one,, she would have died within hours.

Our hospitals around here are infamous death traps. A guy I know's father died at that same hospital, the gave him medication that he was allergic to. Apparently checking charts is too difficult for these people.

Holy crap. I don't know Heruka, I've been to the emergency room like 4 times here! Its crazy. Bastards. I just hope Tom doesn't become addicted to these pain killers, hes taking double what hes supposed to and even though he has an appt. tomorrow, what are they really going to be able to do? I'm sure they'll just want to send him somewhere else.

Yeah, people have been telling me heating pad, ice pack - alternate. He had the heating pad on and put it down on the chair and when he turned around, Franco was there sitting on it. Last night I slept on the sofa and Franco was pushing me off - sticking his nails in my side. I couldn't do anything so I slept with my back off the side. Little jerkoff.
