Oh this will be perfect and that's for the sure of it. The doctors here say sea air and bright burning sunlight is perfect for my conditions. Salty water is soothing and I can be towed on a line sometimes. I have an old Viewmaster with japanese puppet scifi disks I will be bringing.

Last night I was on the porch and I saw in the distance these flashes of lights, like explosions, and it really freaked me out. Then I found out it was just the pyrotechnics from that goddamn Tommy Lee Jones movie. They're going to be setting off explosions all week long.

Ha ha. All this chocolate. I spent all morning making calls about the old man. He can't even move, hes getting worse. Waking up screaming in pain, can't move his arms - its so bad. I was literally on the phone crying to doctors to see him NOW, I got him an appt. with a neurologist tomorrow. They think he needs to see a neurosurgeon. This is so bad. I feel really sorry for him. He just sits there all hunched over in pain - hes taking Vicadin now - huge amounts of it. Its scary.

Last Wed he did something to his back at work. He was on a ladder talking on his cell phone and had a wrench in his other hand. He came home and was complaining. He also has 3 herniated discs in his back from an injury in 94. So by Friday his neck was still stiff - all that so he went to see Dave Greenhouse to work on his neck muscles. Dave, did all this really hard deep tissue work on him and after he left he said he felt better but started getting worse and worse until Sunday he was in really bad pain. Monday he called me at work screaming in pain so thats when we went to the emergency room and its just been a nightmare ever since. Dave really fucked him up.

He has this swollen bump on his right shoulder blade where DAve worked on him. I think its all swollen and its pressing on a nerve so hes all fucked up.

But this is insane, I've never seen anyone suffer pain so much. He is so miserable I feel terrible. I mean, screaming and crying all hunched over. He can't reach out in front of him or anything. I had to put the pills in his mouth and pour water in his mouth. I'm totally in shock like I 'm not sure what we have ahead of us - I'm really fucking scared.
