(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 4:51:12 pm)

Queenie:
Seriously. I just adopted a soldier and I will send him/her a weekly letter and a monthly "care package".
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 4:51:44 pm)

Chewing Wax:
To where?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 4:51:59 pm)

Queenie:
I don't know. I have to wait for them to send me a name and address of a lonely soldier.

Heruka:
Its dolllar beer night at Hobnobbers. So what are we doing home? I wanna go bowling. After months of slothfullness, I feel I am in the peak physical condition to take on such a sport. $36 for an open bar? They gotta lose money on that one.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 9:18:11 pm)

Decoy:
Buck beer. I remember dollar pitchers in college, those were the days. Five bucks was all you needed, four pitchers of beer and enough quarters to run the pool table all night.

Myk Murphy:
i stopped by the bowling alley tonight. it was only 20 minutes until closing, and my friends were already done playing. i assisted them in the task of finishing their last pitcher. the place was nearly empty, as the league people had wrapped up an hour before. i have a feeling that i'll have to explain to my kids what a bowling alley was.

Queenie:
Sidney's fifth birthday party was at a bowling alley. Her and the other kids had a riot.

(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 11:45:05 pm)

Heruka:
It's togh to find open times at any of the two local bowling alleys. It's all leagues it seems. I don't bowl. Hven't in years, but we were calling around a few weeks ago looking for a place to go, and couldn't come up with one. And this was on a Saturday night. There were two others locally, but CVS tore both of them down and put up pharmacy's. There's now 4 Cvs' in like a five mile run down rte 20. Not to mention the others in the area. K-Mart. Wal-Mart, the grocery stores, the smaller pharmacy's. It's crazy. Are there really that many people taking that quantity of drugs? Better living though medication. Buck is cheap though, it's at one of those yuppie wannabe type places, usually beer cost $3 a bottle for domestic, and Guinness in a can goes or $4.50. Nuts. Ended up not going anyhow. II jusy have no real desire to go into a loud pave with drunks spilling their beer all over me. And Big Bertha is a bit more mature than I. So she herself is past that "gotta have a nightlife" stage.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 11:48:57 pm)

Myk Murphy:

Heruka:
Yeah, that's what they said yesterday on the radio. He wasn't expected to live out the week. In a group that I never got into, he was the one I felt the least amount of indifference to him. And his ll things must pass' is really a must own. Strangely warm out this morning. But still raining. McDonalds. I love Scottish food.

George:
My sweet lord
II really want to see you
Really want to be with you
Really want to see you lord
But it takes so long, my lord

(Fri Nov 30, 2001 - 7:13:57 am)

Myk Murphy:
Yeah, the world will miss him. I hope he gets to meet his sweet lord. Good morning, folks.
(Fri Nov 30, 2001 - 7:53:54 am)

Myk Murphy:
The irony is that ringo will likely survive the other three, yet he was the most expendable.
(Fri Nov 30, 2001 - 8:28:29 am)

Decoy:
No Beatles are/were expendable.
