Queenie:
I saw the most vile, hairy, disgusting bug in my house yesterday but by the time I'd fetched Ken to smoosh it, it was gone. It's still in the house somewhere, just waiting for me to look away so it can jump in my hair....

Detlef Sping:
Sounds like a nightcracker to me.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:31:24 pm)

Queenie:

Can you imagine having to lug all this gear around?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:31:31 pm)

Heruka:
Well that was embarassing. I just ran into someone I knew a few years and 25 lbs ago at the grocery store. Here I am, 25 lbs heavier dressed like a bum, unemployed, and buying cupcakes. No fluffing my way out of that one. I gave the juice to her straight. I'm fat, uneployed, and apparently buy my clothes senond hand unwashed.

Decpy:
He's still trying for that quote.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:40:05 pm)

Queenie:
What kind of cupcakes?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:40:18 pm)

Myk Murphy:
I think i will go cd shopping this afternoon. The office bores me.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:41:14 pm)

Heruka:
Christmas ones, they have snowmen, reindeer, penguins and santas on top. All made of frosting. What are you buying Myk?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:43:03 pm)

bela:
Awesome, I love cupcakes. Theres this sort of famous place here called the cupcake cafe and they have the most amazing cake. On one episode of SEx in the City, Sarah Jessica and that Miranda are sitting outside eating cupcakes, they put all different colored frosting on them, which make them look better.

Queenie:
The Cupcake Cafe? Madness.

bela:
Its so good. I've had cake and cupcakes from there, its somewhere between Times Squ and 8th avenue, I've never been there.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:47:08 pm)

Decoy:
Do noblesse oblige and nightcracker go together? Both of those graphics are from the same web site. It seems like a coincidence, but I don't know.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:48:23 pm)

Myk Murphy:
Nothing wrong with using "noblesse oblige" if appropriate. There is no equivalent, really, especially if discussing nietzschean philosophy.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:48:41 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I say it all the time. What did I miss?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:50:29 pm)

Cushca:
I've gone insane.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:50:41 pm)

Myk Murphy:
I have no idea, heruka. Most music sucks, as you know. Any cd suggestions from the lounge?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:51:30 pm)

Heruka:
When disussing Herukan philosophy, the term BULLSHIT is used quite ofetn and appropriately. Myk worship Nietsze. Sadly.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:54:44 pm)

noblesse oblige:
Bedheaded by Bedhead.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:55:35 pm)

Heruka:
Bjorks bnew one is awesome. As is Enya. But I'd go with Buffett's "changes in attitudes, changes in latitudes." It;'s a must own. If you don't like it, I'll buy it back.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:56:12 pm)

noblesse oblige:
Buy it back? are you working for Buffett?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:58:03 pm)

Heruka:

bela:
Thats so weird, you know, I got Bjork's new album from a friend that works at Elektra and I just think it sucks. Its Bjork doing that talking singing over this low newage classical techno music. I just don't think the two blend, its like oil and water. Tom was in her loft doing sprinkler work when she was working on that album. He said she was really nice and her kid didn't do anything but play video games and watch TV. Maybe its me, she sold out the Garden.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:59:22 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Have you all gone nuts?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 12:59:24 pm)

Decoy:
I see the sequence now. No worry.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:00:27 pm)

bela:
That kind of music is so popular though, I don't get it, I really don't, I guess I'm missing something. I can't stand her talking singing thing.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:00:40 pm)

Heruka:
No. Not at all. But I'm surprised at how little people know about music. The idiots on Fegmaniax mailing list once talked about how over-rated Satchmo is. I think people believe that non=mainstream music is better than well-know musicians. Which is not always the case.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:00:44 pm)

Cushca:
Enya? Is Enya someone else over there?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:01:21 pm)

Heruka:
Her album has been getting rave reviews.
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:01:43 pm)

Heruka:
Bjork, not Enya
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:02:04 pm)

Decoy:
Wasn't that the balloon song one?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:02:05 pm)

Chewing Wax:
You mean Nina?
(Thu Nov 29, 2001 - 1:02:34 pm)

Heruka:
Pinta?
