bela:
A computer, ok, I'll by that, that makes sense. But it sounds like someone clicking off when I say hello. Whatever.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:31:39 pm)

bela:
Too tall? God, there's this woman in my neighborhood and she is the tallest woman I've ever seen. Shes about 6 '3 but that is just insane for a woman.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:33:07 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Don't you have the caller ID there?
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:33:10 pm)

bela:
No, why would I? Its a huge company. We don't have that.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:34:03 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Too bad for you I guess.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:34:32 pm)

bela:
I can see who is calling me within the company, which is very convenient because I never pick up the phone unless its Rob. But I can't tell who is calling me from outside. I don't really care to see either.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:35:00 pm)

bela:
I can pretty much guess who is calling me on the outside by the time of day.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:36:21 pm)

bela:
Can someone explain to me why the President signs documents with so many pens. I knew once but I forget. Any nerd can answer this quesion.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:38:42 pm)

Chewing Wax:
So he can sell the pens on Ebay.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:39:10 pm)

bela:
Shut up. I'm serious now. Did you get a load of Decoy today. That was too much.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:39:48 pm)

Chewing Wax:
He said he had a cold. I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. What was the answer to your stupid question?
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:40:30 pm)

bela:
Polish. I don't know, I forget the question but it was totally weird.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:41:41 pm)

bela:
I know but I thought I was really stupid when I didn't think I understood the question because he told me Oklahoma was wrong and to try again.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:42:29 pm)

Heruka:
Someone offered me $1500 for one of my machinists toolboxes. Should I sell?
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:42:35 pm)

bela:
Yeah, he would spend all that money on a bunch of crusty old tools.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:43:34 pm)

Heruka:
Some of my "crusty old tools" are worth $500 a piece. The bigger ones. I've got a pair of micrometers that I paid $750 for alone. These aren't your hubby's $1.99 wrench's here.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:46:20 pm)

bela:
Huh?
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:47:24 pm)

bela:
$500 for a tool? YOu're an idiot.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:48:34 pm)

Chewing Wax:
What exactly does one do with a pair of $750 micrometers?
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:48:35 pm)

Chewing Wax:

(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:49:25 pm)

bela:
I don't know what tools tom has, I know he has a big threading machine and a saw to cut threw the wall.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:50:24 pm)

bela:
I've seen a big wrench. Maybe that thing down there has been in my house. I don't know. It looks familiar.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:51:47 pm)

Heruka:
Huh? I've got tools that can read 1/10,000th of an inch. Imagine taking theo's cock, doubling its size, and there you have 1/10,000th of an inch. I'm getting rid of most of my tools. Liquidation. Except the ones I can use later, and the cool ones. Those I keep. I was once in this high-priced arty type place that sold art and things like that, they had a machinists toolbox there for sale. It was all prettied up yhough. They wantes something like $4oo for it, with out tools. New, the Gerstner ones will sell for roughly $600. I have an two old Gerstners. Back when it was a family business. They're great. and attractive.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:53:27 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Micrometer
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:54:39 pm)

Heruka:
They measure 36 inches. For meashine large things within 1/5,000th of an inch. Not close tolerance, but good enough for most applications.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:55:03 pm)

Heruka:
It's a pumpking carving weekend for us! Woo-Hoo!
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:56:59 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I need to do that again. I threw out all the seeds last weekend by mistake. I need my toasted pumpkin seeds.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:57:46 pm)

Heruka:
With just a dash of salt. I didn't buy any roses, should have. Have a nice weekend.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:59:03 pm)

Chewing Wax:
you too.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 4:59:31 pm)

Heruka:
This old Gerstner is going for $510 on ebay.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 5:00:30 pm)

Decoy:
The funny part to me is that bela stumbled through her little trivia adventure at least as badly as I did, but then she kept insulting me and my getting the number wrong. A diversion.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 5:05:12 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It's cause you told her Oklahoma was wrong, which made her think she was stupid for not understanding the question. You gave her a complex and she lashed out the only way she knows how. By calling you an asshole.
(Fri Oct 26, 2001 - 5:06:18 pm)

Chewing Wax:
it was, upon rereading, hilarious.
