Cutting just means to put it in neat lines. That's all. Although the cool thing is to grow a pinky nail long, and snort it from there. That's called a "coke-nail". Or so I hear.

They have an annual crayon drawing contest at the brasserie. But the contestants are world class artists, and they hang the winners up all over the restaurant. And the ceiling is covered with playing cards from the magician Mark Allen's card tricks. And there's live jazz. And really amazing smoked salmon eggs benedict. It's a weird place but fun.

Heruka:
You don't have to. But it's recommended. I've gone in there with just a button up shirt before. They're a bunch of Italians. Good people. Nice and friendly like. Reservations are a must for later in the week. The problem is, they generally have good specials, but you never know what it's gonna be. It's whatever they decide to buy earlier in the day. So that can be a hit or miss type thing.

The sautéed Oregon snapper, for example, is marvelously fresh and crowned with small morsels of Dungeness crab and finished with a light and flavorful beurre blanc. The pan-roasted venison embellished with a hearty Cumberland sauce (a combination of red currant jelly, Port, orange and lemon zests, mustard and seasonings) is equally mouth-watering. The French fried artichoke hearts accompanied by a mustard-dill dipping sauce is not to be missed.

Ken likes the place for their spanish coffees. He spends his life on the quest for the perfect spanish coffee, and the perfect margarita. Of course, his idea of a perfect margarita is on the rocks, no salt, in a pint glass half full of tequila.

I live in a family oriented county. T.G.I.Fridays and MacDonalds are the buggest draws. Everything is geared toward people with kids. So Gavi's is a nice reprieve. There's also a nice place right up the road. Very distinguished food. Calamari that has a coconut flare to it. Sawyer House.
