Queenie:
I bet she says she knows them and they're either "retards" or "assholes" or there's something really wrong with their dogs.

No anthrax here. Strange, my lack of drinking in recent times has set me back 8 years. I'm back to square one, my body can no longer process the alcohol like I trained it to do. Anbything more than a few drinks makes me ehave. Sad, I know.. Trailer for dsale or rent, ain't got no cigarettes....

Myk Murphy:
fastball released an album this past year, "harsh light of day" (?) but i didn't like it as much as its predecessor. the first single "you're an ocean" didn't really take off, i guess, and the album was ignored. er, i think.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 12:16:24 am)

Queenie:
That boy from fastball is very... uh... interesting looking. I like the way you can actually HEAR his overbite in his voice. It's cute.

Mrs Dr GB:
Queenie, were you sniping at bela for having tales to tell about well-known folk?
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 7:51:34 am)

bela:
Ouch.

It does seem though slightly pot-kettle-black, if she was being snide.

bela:
You know, you all could be a little bit more appreciative of my stories, I have some good ones.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:07:37 am)

Sleepy:
I'm sitting here sharing apples and stories with the Queen, but do you see me boasting?
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:08:37 am)

Sleepy:
I'm tiring of the cucumber sandwiches.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:08:55 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
I think it's a bit pathetic of her to get those crusts cut off, too. A bit affected.

Decoy:
Joan Osborne?
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:33:26 am)

bela:
Lets get this straight, I don't boast. I don't know, maybe I do - its irrelevent in any case. Jack plays guitar for Joan Osborne too. Get this, Jack is Tom's best friend from childhood in New Jersey. Tom and Jerry knew Joan from years ago in the band scene. Jerry went out with Joan and they lived together and once he hit his toothbrush on the sink so she moved out. Tom thinks shes a scumbag because she stole two of his microphones, he used to play with her here and there. So then Jack gets called to play in her band, she didn't know the connection. Weird right? We went to her birthday party last year but no good celebrities were there. Some musicians I didn't know.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:37:45 am)

bela:
Anyone that would go out with Jerry has to be a dirty scumbag, he is so gross.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:39:07 am)

Decoy:
If that's who I think it is, she used to play in the bar I hung out in Rochester fairly regularly. I remember that she was a hottie and we found out that she tried to keep it a secret that she was married to the bass player. Does that make sense? Or am I thinking of someone else?
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:41:02 am)

bela:
You are thinking of someone else. She has never been married that I know of. Her career is over, she had that one album that did really well so shes set for life. She goes on tour alot though. Shes sort of heavy with ringlets of hair - dresses flea market funky, that sort of girl. I don't know, I thought she was really nice, she really likes tom it seemed.
(Thu Oct 11, 2001 - 10:46:41 am)

Decoy:
That was a fuzzy time. But I know I've seen Joan play several times. Those chick singer acts were so popular back then.
