Sometimes a human spirit can inhabit an animal. I've had pets that definately had more going on than just basic animal biological functions.

While walking to my boat earlier, I had noticed a snake bathing in the sun. The snake was right in the middle of the path that lay before me. As I continued on to my destination, I had kept an eye on the snake, waiting for him to slither off into the bushes as they do. When to my surprise, by the time I had got to where the snake had been enjoying the warm, healing rays of the sun, the serpent hadn't budged. As I stood there looking down upon this creature that crawls along on it's belly for which God had so stricken with this unfortunate cross to bear. He eyed me, and I eyed him. I felt at this very point that perhaps I had cnnected with this animal in some strange spiritual way. Deciding to to take our connection one step further, I reached down to pet this creature. As soon as he had seen the movement I made with my hand towrds him, he slithered off into the shrubbery as fast as he could. Oh well.

I agree with Decoy. People like to project human charactoristics onto animals. It makes them feel cuddly inside. But they lack the ability to comprehend. I don't believe in a whole lot of 'spiritual' crap. It's a catch phrase these days. Not much more. Wax is following me through the web.
