Chewing Wax:
I was serious about Dubyahs comment. You just paranoid. My wit confuses and bewilders your simple child-like mind. That's okay.

bela:
Towel heads. Thats funny. Peter calls them dot heads.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:27:46 pm)

bela:
I didn't see your comment down there until just now. thats very funny. He did say they were cave dwellers didn't he, so nothing is surprising.

Queenie:
I probably would send him back but I'd want to molest him at least once first. If that's OK.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:30:46 pm)

Decoy:
Dot-heads? That's not even close.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:33:16 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Got them all from Three Kings. That was funny.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:35:55 pm)

Totally random statement:
IMHO: Three things determine, at birth, the person who is being born:

1. The physicality of the body
2. The spirit which inhabits it
3. The environment into which they are born

Number two is the only factor that isn't changable.

Number one is important -- imagine the frustration of being a fully functional, intelligent, creative spirit trapped in a body with birth defects or neurological disfunctions or mental retardation.

Number three is also important -- imagine if Mozart had been born into a family in a tiny third world country that didn't have much music and went his entire life never even seeing a piano.

Just stuff to think about.

If the body is strong and the environment is nurturing -- even though number two is a crap shoot from an expectant mother's perspective -- you've got a shot at creating an awesome human being from that fetus, from that "promise of life".

bela:
He wouldn't let you do it - hed say "get offa me you stupid bitch. " But you never know.

Heruka:
Yes Hindu Indians have the dot. Indian Muslims hate Hindus. They'd openly kill them had they the chance.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:37:16 pm)

Queenie:
Really? Not even just once? He prolly likes skinny chicks huh.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:37:29 pm)

Decoy:
Sounds like Tom knows his shit.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:38:38 pm)

Queenie:
Up yours and in your ear!
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:39:04 pm)

bela:
No, he doesn't care. The girlfriend before me was sort of heavy and very blond. He says he likes fat chicks. He thinks I'm too skinny sometimes. When I was really skinny - almost 10 pounds skinnier than I am now he said I was like cuddling up to a bag of baseball bats.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:39:08 pm)

Heruka:
Define #2.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:39:29 pm)

Decoy:
I just mean that I would say something similar (knowing it would never happen) like, "get offa me you dumbass!"
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:40:28 pm)

Decoy:
A bag of bats? He said that?
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:41:28 pm)

bela:
Yeah, welll, hes very eloquent.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:41:43 pm)

bela:
baseball bats silly head.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:42:22 pm)

Decoy:
That's funny. Can I use it?
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:43:25 pm)

Totally random statement:
"Spirit" or "Soul" -- the intangible essence that inhabits a human body, enabling us to feel passion, love, anger, emotion -- enabling us to create, destroy -- that which compels us towards spirituality and religion. The thing that separates us from other mammals.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:43:36 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Who you going to use it on?
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:45:01 pm)

Decoy:
I was just gonna save it for later. When I really wanna cut someone good.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:46:13 pm)

Queenie:

(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:46:20 pm)

(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:46:23 pm)

Queenie:
You could refer to me as a really puffy bag of baseball bats.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:46:33 pm)

bela:
Thats what you said CW, I predicted she was and white with dark hair so there you go.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:47:04 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I don't agree with that definition. Our brains do most of the work. Think of how catastrophic a brain illness or injury can be to a human's perceptions or thought processes. The spirit is what gives us the spark of consciousness, of self awareness and uniqueness. I haven't given it much thought though. I hope it's eternal though.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:47:04 pm)

Decoy:
Like cuddling a bag of Nerf® bats.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:47:41 pm)

Queenie:
There ya go.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:48:00 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I also believe that other mammals have spirits. So that definition is out the window for me.
(Thu Sep 20, 2001 - 4:48:22 pm)

The Human Couch:
The spirit needs the brain to function, just as the body needs the brain, and both the body and the brain need the spirit. All work together in a delicate balance.
