I was only ine the towers once, back in late summer of '86 on my first trip to the Apple. We went inside, but we didn't go up as it was a hazy day and visibility was nil. Iwas a kid then, just 14. We were all kids. The oldest amongst us was 17. I always figured I would go up the Towers. But everytime I went back I just had other things on my mind. Mayby they'll build a bigger, better building. One that even shames those things in Singapore. Oh well.

Holy fucking shit! I can't comprehend anyone on this board is actually stupid or in Wax's case, small minded enough to believe such trash. Fucking hell, if you hadn't balls the size of boiled peas and posted as who you really are, I would go over there and give you a good old fashioned pistol whipping. Hell you couldn't blame me, I'm not redsponsible for my actions. I have no free will. Somewhere along the line I was taught to react violently to excessively ignorant comments. The way we were brought up gives us are initial preception of the world and when we're young we react according to this mentality, but as adults we do indeed have free will. We have the abilty to tell the difference between right and wrong. Unfortunately, postmodern thought has blurred the lines between the two. Hence oranges opinion. He can't tell the difference between a Democracy that helps hundreds million of people in this world, and a Dictatorship that kills tens of thousands of it's own people in order to gain power. I've said enough. Perhaps too much. I'm going back to bed.

Still in Australia. And it looks like we're missing out on plenty of madness in the Lounge. Sad news for all you Americans though. Utterly shocked. The Bird tells me you're all OK, which is happy news.

Fuck up:
German police have confirmed an Iranian man phoned US police from his deportation cell to warn of the planned attack on the World Trade Centre.
The Lower Saxony Justice Ministry has confirmed the man warned of the impending series of terrorist attacks, but had not been believed.
Spokesman Frank Woesthoff said the man phoned America "several times", but refused to give further details.
He said the US Secret Service had not told the ministry about the calls received from the Langenhagen prison until after the attacks.
"I cannot say anything about the man and the ministry does not know the content of the conversations," he added.
The Hanover daily newspaper Neue Presse reported the 29-year-old was dismissed as mentally unstable when he gave the warning of a terrorist attack to occur this week.
The ministry would not reveal when the calls had been made.

According to the WSJ yesterday, the towers had just gone into private hands a couple of months ago. The Port Authority had leased them out for 99 years for a sum of 3.2 billion. They were insured for an act of terrorism, and NOT an act of war. You think things were ugly Tuesday? Just wait untill everyone start taking each other to court over the property values and such. Ugh. I'm having very vivid dreams, and I'm remembering them perfectly. Must be the meds.

Well, my stolen van, originally thought to have been in a "hit and run", was apparently NOT involved in any such thing. The reports are sketchy but reveal that there is "underside damage" which could mean damn near anything. But the report also reveals that the person who witnessed the accident and called it in saw a "hooded figure" running into an apartment on 19th & Tibbetts. So now we know where the fuckers live.

Queenie:
Grant is one fucking hell of a performer. He's either really high on life or seriously coked up. But he put every bit of energy and loooove into that show and the people were eating it up. It was really a very incredible show. If you have not had a chance to see Grant plugged in and at full power, I very highly recommend it.

I tried to enroll Sidney in public school today. A real school with lockers and a nurse's office. Quite a culture shock from her cureent school with is basically a cluster of homes that were turned into schoolrooms. Anyhoo, I was halfway through the enrollment process when I said, "By the way, she's only five. She was put in first grade early." Which causes big problems -- now she has to be tested and assessed and if they decide she's not first grade material, she may have to repeat kindergarten. Which further sucks because they only have half days of kindergarten at this new school.

Does the US have to use military force here? Won't a few pistols work? All these guys have are box cutters. They litterally destroyed the WTC with box cutters.
