Queenie:
Which prodco is she with?
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:28:11 pm)

Decoy:
Maple Palm, actually was with. She took the summer off to teach riding camp.

Queenie:
I just got an email from my old babysitter. She found me on classmates.com. How funny. We used to stay up all night watching Wham! videos.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:42:52 pm)

Queenie:
Maple Palm, eh? Did she meet Punky Brewster?

Chewing Wax:
Heh. Fags.

Myk Murphy:
XP may have some nice features. i like the improved disk I/O especially. i agree that ME is a troublesome OS. i am deliriously happy with win2k, however, and so i would have to be blown away to rush into XP. if the licensing is anything like office XP, however, i'm never going to touch it. i don't really need microsoft to agree to how many PCs will get an office install. fuck 'em.

Queenie:
Andrew was no fag. He's got a wife and kids and whatnot. George on the other hand...

Heruka:
Dell? You're buying a Dell? Do they still come with the free membership to the Mickey Mouse club? I love Microsoft. I have to admire any company that can sell billions of dollars worth of stuff all the while making shit products. Hooray for Microshit! I went to the record shop yesterday. The good redord shop. 40 miles away. I took public transportation. Three buses and a rail ride later I arrived at my destination. 4 hours worth of travelling. It was worthwhile trip though. This music store has everything. Even copies of A Star For Bram for $24.99. Bought Steve Kilbeys 'Acoustic and Intimate' and the accompanying video. The people who work there are fans, and not fans of Britney Spear-her-in-the-ass. That makes a differance. I layed over downtown for a couple of hours. Smoking cigars and eyeballing the pretty girls that go in and out of the office buildings. I felt like those people who just hang around all day. Just sitting there, watching. I found out if you stare long enough and just the right way, you can make the females feel dirty. Sometimes you get the repulsion stare back. As a whole though, downtown sucks. It's dirty, smelly and after 6pm, the place shuts down. I'm not surprised that businesses are running out into the burbs as fast as they can pack their things. Somehow I can't visualize Hemmingway sitting at a computer writing 'A Farewell To Arms' or something. Ooh more shark attacks. Didn't they recently find a tiger shark in Australia with human body parts in it? Suspect there's more attacks than everyone is openly talking about.

The Xp licensing got hacked exactly 3 minutes after it was released. You can get a thing that stops it from reporting to the mothership. Anyway. So H, what brand do you balance your price / performance ratio on? You sound like an IBM man, perhaps?
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 7:31:25 am)

Decoy:
And who the hell in punky brewster?
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 7:33:01 am)

Myk Murphy:
Good to hear that the hack is already created! A glorious morning here in the capital of the free world. Autumn starts so gently here.

Heruka:
Hey! You're following me again! Yeah, I got IBM's two of them. One for work, and one for viewing strangely dressed sheep off the web. I am neither a computer geek or a gamer. But I do run several different computer-aided drafting programs. And a couple of them are pretty massive. Punky Brewster was an award winning tv show back in the early '80s. Classic stuff.

Decoy:
H, with that info and a cup of coffee, I can start my day. Big Blue is good gear, its the only other stuff I'd ever buy. Speaking of CAD, we just got a Dell Precision Workstation 530 yesterday with Dual 1.4 Xeons, RAID5 and a Wildcat 5110 for 3DStudioMax. I can geek out on these things, sorry.

Poo, what a shitty week. Hi.

Anybody want a dinner plate from the Third Reich?
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 9:44:02 am)

bela:
That was me.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 9:44:10 am)

Decoy:
I bet Detlef can tap his Nazi war gold and pay you big money.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 9:49:18 am)

bela:
Yeah, whatever. I'm exhausted.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:17:38 am)

Chewing Wax:
Good morning.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:31:33 am)

Myk Murphy:
Have i missed much?
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:54:18 am)

Chewing Wax:
No.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:55:09 am)

Chewing Wax:
I wrote some checks to pay some bills. The fuckers selling natural gas last winter should have their testicles removed with a pen knife.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:55:53 am)

Chewing Wax:
I had a $700 gas bill last February. I don't even keep my house that warm. Since I'm on the even payment plan, my gas bills all summer long have been $256. I am, as they say, full of rage.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 10:57:07 am)

Myk Murphy:
We are a compaq house here, but i like dells for biz pc stuff. My dell friend came up from austin for labor day. Buy dell and put food in his kids mouth!
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:00:37 am)

Chewing Wax:
HP just bought Dell.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:02:35 am)

Myk Murphy:
A pen knife? Well, your rage is justified.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:03:07 am)

Myk Murphy:
Hp bought compaq, silly. This will benefit neither, me thinks.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:05:03 am)

bela:
What the hell is a pen knife. I'm going to have to keep the apt. really warm this winter for the little cuddly seargent. For christ's sake, when its 90 degress he burrows under a blanket.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:05:50 am)

Chewing Wax:
Just dig up his old wool-lined uniform with the down insulated epilets. He'll be comfy.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:11:23 am)

HP bought Compaq. That's what I meant. Clearly. Bubbles in the blood. They've reached my brain.
(Wed Sep 5, 2001 - 11:14:32 am)

Heruka:
I had a Compaq before I bought this one. Picked up in '96. I'm still using the monitor. Call the help line an they tell you to reformat the drive every fucking time. I did have a delightful conversation with one of the support girls though. Nazi plate? I have an SS boot knife. Nazi stuff is hot.
