Cushca:
A fucking nice house.
(Mon Sep 3, 2001 - 4:36:46 pm)

theo:
Yes indeed, Beautiful house!!
(Mon Sep 3, 2001 - 11:07:35 pm)

Heruka:
Major bowel problems. Bad burgers or something. I don't find that house aesthetically pleasing at all. The lines make it look at though it's not sure what to do with itself or what it wants to be. Use epoxy morter or Portland cement morter to hold it in place, m. And use a water resistant backing. That's just my opinion. It means nothing.
(Mon Sep 3, 2001 - 11:37:51 pm)

Heruka:
This is more my style. Simple, yet refined. If I ever get around to building my house, this is it. If I don't end up in some condo with loud rude neighbors...
(Mon Sep 3, 2001 - 11:49:13 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Good morning
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 9:27:41 am)

Decoy the Tile Man:
Good morning, Wax. Good opinion, h. I've used latex mastik or thinset to set the tile. The latex is easier to use and the thinset seemed stronger but more picky to work with. Make sure everything is flat - you can use a filler material. If you work the adhesive in good, that is waterproof in and of itself. Make sure you nail down the luan on at least 8 inch squares, you don't want any bounce.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 10:04:10 am)

Chewing Wax:
I did my kitchen floor by taking it down to the subfloor, nailing down half inch plywood and then using quickcrete brand floor slab powders spread about a foot or so thick.

Myk Murphy:
So much good improvement knowledge here. This cannot be a good thing. Giggle. Happy end of summer to you all!
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 11:40:08 am)

Chewing Wax:
Summer, we hardly knew ye
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 11:59:55 am)

Chewing Wax:
I think I have to go back to school. It would be good for my soul. Maybe I'll just go to some college football games. That might get the curse off.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 12:00:34 pm)

orange:
why did summer go so quickly, was it something that you said... and the autumn leaves are turning to the colour of her hair
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 12:15:45 pm)

Queenie:
I would love to have a new floor in my kitchen but it's got this big warp.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 1:52:56 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Take it down to the joists and then use shims and thinset to level it out. Then apply quickcrete brand soluble floor unquent with the extra sheen additives and sweep level with a soft broom.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 1:55:42 pm)

Queenie:
Uh huh.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:00:55 pm)

Decoy:
I know ... but it works!
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:34:45 pm)

Decoy:
Go UB Bulls! Snort snort snort!
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:35:13 pm)

Decoy:
HP-Compaq? I thought I dreamt that this morning when the clock radio went on. Good god.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:36:39 pm)

Chewing Wax:
What kind of base CD drive should I get with my new Dell? What is a DVD drive for a video card?
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:39:29 pm)

Decoy:
Cool, I am going to buy one too. I bought for work with the DVD for the GForce2 with an addon CDR 16x10x32. I was thinking the same approach for home. Are you shopping the small business stuff or the home/home office?
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:45:14 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I don't know. Whatever is good. I was looking at the Dimension 4100 just now.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:45:56 pm)

Chewing Wax:
but what is a dvd for a video card? How does that work?
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:46:33 pm)

Decoy:
They mate the cards with the drives for better DVD playback. The way it was explained to me once is that the software playback is designed specifically for that combo.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:54:42 pm)

Decoy:
Are you getting a pentium3? Cause the P4's just came down in price massively.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:55:34 pm)

Decoy:
You can score extra goodies if you buy the old stuff now though/
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:57:48 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I see. Yeh. I noticed the 8100 was just a bit more expensive. I'll get a P4
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 2:58:35 pm)

Decoy:
Since the 2.0 Ghertz came out, the 1.8's or 1.7s are real affordable.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:00:06 pm)

Decoy:
its +$400 difference between the 1.7 and the 2.0, I'm thinking 1.7.
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:01:31 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I was looking at the 1.5 A very nice system for $1,248.00
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:02:01 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It's only $100 more for 1.7
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:02:39 pm)

Decoy:
1.5 - 1.7 +1001.8 + 2002.0 + 400
(Tue Sep 4, 2001 - 3:04:20 pm)

Decoy:
1.5 -
1.7 +100
1.8 + 200
2.0 + 400
