Our vacations growing up were piling into a car and driving 12-20 hors to our destination. Classic Americana. In later years my parents would fly, and leave us at home.

Columbus sucks. Really, it does. It's Buffalo without the glamour. Chicago is ok. Been there a few times. Got drunk at the Blues festival and slept in a park by the lake. Chekerboard Lounge is a MUST HIT place on any Chicago itinerary.

I don't know Cloumbus very well. Used to party there awhile back when I knew people who were attanding OSU at the time. I remember 5 miles out of the city there were farms. If you play Cleveland, I'll go. Lunch was a lake perch sandwich and fries. mmm
