The "love theme" from moulin rouge is great in the movie, especially when they're singing it to each other in rehearsal and she's got that beautiful costume and headdress on and he's got the jaunty hat at the sweater around his shoulders and everyone's all beautiful and in love and it really is a gorgeous moment.... but the song on it's own on the soundtrack without the visuals really is a pretty lame song.

I'm itching to have it on DVD. I saw it at a second run theater with a REALLY bad sound system so every time a song climaxed it just turned into this awful distorted all of sound. Anxious to plug it into the ol' DTS system.
