Decoy:
Its nice weather today. just perfect actually.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 8:39:27 am)

Heruka:
Strangely quiet here. Bizarre even. All I can hearis crickets, locusts and crows. Like I'm living in the country or something.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 8:50:43 am)

Decoy:
This has to be western New Y ork's prime time - mid August through mid October. There's no place I'd rather be. You can just smell it coming.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 8:53:18 am)

Heruka:
Yes. I was talking to someone about that same thing. Smelling the changing of the seasons. It's subtle, but it's there. At least I believe so. Everything dying already. My flowers are all but over. It's going to be a long cold winter would be my guess. I personally don't like the cold anymore. Anything below 60 is too cold for me.

Decoy:
Nah. Something about cold I like. I like being in the cold and feeling warm - like shoveling or skiing. And lIke Wax says - it keeps your water cold.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 9:08:34 am)

Chewing Wax:
Good morning. Part of it is the quality of the light as the sun sinks towards the south. It's magical.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:08:40 am)

bela:
Fall is my favorite season. I love cold weather. I hate this humid weather, my hair is a big messy puff ball.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:10:02 am)

bela:
I have this snakeskin print part of my sister's pajamas wrapped around my head today my hair is so puffy.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:11:03 am)

Chewing Wax:
I don't know what to say.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:15:55 am)

Chewing Wax:
I was listening to a show about the Autumn garden on Friday, and they mentioned how English poets always lament and cry about Autumn and American poets from the north east sing it's praises. Because the leaves fall so suddenly, the sun sets at four o'clock in England.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:17:35 am)

Heruka:
I must admit, autumn has always been my favourite season. The season of death, or something like that. That's changed though. Those few days that we had tropical weather were heaven. I love sweating. Just sitting there as the weat pours off of you. That doesn't happen in Phoenix. Plus my love for tropical plants. You can grow them here, but it's not the same. I could never get a banana tree to fruit.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:38:18 am)

Heruka:
I think I want a sailboat. You can fish off a sailboat. Right? I almost bought a Tartan once. I could have gotten it for dirt cheap.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:48:52 am)

bela:
Is Chicago/Ohio cold in October?
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:49:48 am)

bela:
I just want my bike fixed. Some asshole bumped into it when it was parked outside of a bar and bent the wheel. Or, someone jumped on the tire.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:50:49 am)

Chewing Wax:
Sping
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:52:05 am)

Heruka:
I dunno about Chicago, but I believe Cleveland damn near the same lattitude as New York. Buffalo is north of us. I could look it up, but I'm too damned lazy.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 10:52:34 am)

bela:
Thats ok, its no big deal. Sping fucked my bike up? Asshole.

My new office will not have a window like my current one.

Chewing Wax:
Stained glass of the Madonna and child reaching towards the hand of God?
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 11:56:30 am)

Myk murphy:
Perfect weather here yesterday, and today looks good, too. At least my new office will be near the exit so i can leave when i like.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 12:01:01 pm)

bela:
For Tom's birthday, I'm thinking of getting a black and white poster sized picture of bela and having a specially fancy framed. I got the idea the other night when she was sitting on the railing of the deck, and she was surrounded by ivy leaves. He would be so happy.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 12:02:39 pm)

Myk murphy:
Stained glass would, at least, be interesting. This place is a bit drab for that.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 12:03:31 pm)

Myk murphy:
Good gift, but maybe a stained glass window of bela sniffing god would be better. Thoughts?
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 12:05:57 pm)

bela:
Thats an excellent idea, but Tom isn't religious, so maybe a stained glass window of bela sniffing a flower. Who could do that? I'll get my mother to do an oil painting of her. Thats what.
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 12:11:58 pm)

Queenie:
Well, here I am, in my very own office. I painted it green and moved in yesterday. Woo hoo!
(Mon Aug 27, 2001 - 1:42:41 pm)

Chewing Wax:
For the first season ever, I think I have more tomatoes than I can possibly eat. I'm going to try though. Damnit, I'm going to try.
