I was coming home from a movie and my street was all blocked off with cop cars and ambulances - a sight that can immediately make your heart grow cold if you have left a loved one behind at home. The cops made us circle around the block, but I begged them to tell me what was wrong. "Someone was hit by a car," he said, "now go around the block. This is a crime scene". So I circled around and pulled into my driveway and ran downstairs to see if Ken was sitting at his desk. He was, totally unaware that anything was going on outside. I have never been so happy to see him playing Diablo 2 before. I still don't know who it was that was hit. I really hope it wasn't a neighbor or friend.

diablo 2 is a good game, but if it keeps ken off the streets, so much the better. i hope that the accident wasn't fatal. i did about 300 miles of driving this weekend, and i saw some amazing acts of stupidity. drivers from maryland and new york perpetrate the dumbest acts on interstate 95. last night, a dead body was dropped off on the very same interstate. the police suspect foul play. the police are geniuses.
