(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:01:07 am)
Chewing Wax:
Still, it lurks in the archives. We'll all know it's there. Our lives have been touched by evil forever.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:01:54 am)
Decoy:
The infamous archive 131. Lets not go there.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:03:45 am)
Chewing Wax:
Yes. Stay out of 131. Like that room in the Overlook Hotel where the woman in the bathtub is.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:06:01 am)
Myk Murphy:
oooh, nice reference, mr wax. the overlook still gives me the creeps.

Chewing Wax:

(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:23:53 am)
Myk Murphy:
as with most things, the book was much different and much better, but despite stephen king's protestations, it was a good film.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:26:39 am)
Chewing Wax:
I've never read the book. And I recently read that King has come around to liking the movie after all. I should read the book.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:27:33 am)
Myk Murphy:
it's a fine book. if you like king, you'll love The Stand. (the miniseries was ok).
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:35:27 am)
Decoy:
There's a big difference between Stanley Kubrick and Stephen King when you're looking at the entire spectrum of art in general.

Chewing Wax:
Can't say I'm a big King fan at all. I thought The Stand was a long tedious build up to nothing. I liked Pet Semetary quite a bit though. And Cujo wasn't bad.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:40:03 am)
Chewing Wax:
But, I ordered the book along with the movie. We'll see what's what. Yes we will. And I ordered The Big Sleep paperback. I'm going to have me a Raymond Chandler evening.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:40:53 am)
Sleepy:

Chewing Wax:
Postastic. Who got No. 1?
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:48:01 am)
Chewing Wax:
Poptastic.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:48:11 am)
Decoy:
Actually the movie about the red '58 Plymouth Fury is hilarious. That Buddy Rapperton was such a card.
(Fri Feb 4, 2000 - 11:50:55 am)
Sleepy:
