The boat Herreshoff was lovely. But out of my price range at this time. Considering I have to find a place to call home. So I looked at a Sea Ray! Much like the last two I owned. It was cheap. And old. Wood boats become classics, fiberglass boats just get old. Cheap though. And over all not too bad off. Fourteen pounds a year eh? That's a good living salary. Wonderful day out. It was only ruined by a Jumbalaya meal that costs $16 and tasted like it came from a bag. Terrible. Just terrible. The place used to have good food. Way back when..

glorious day here today. the rains are finally gone. actually, yesterday afternoon was very nice. some friends threw a party: keg, volleyball, grillin', etc. i hear talk of MG's triumphant return to the american scene. MG Rover (spun off from BMW) may just survive. we wait and hope.

that's a sweet ride, even if the fine british electrical engineering causes the occasional fireball. neither of my reverse lights work, and i only have one functioning brake light. as for turn signals, their speeds vary, but they kinda work. that's good enough for me.
