A wedding feast:
Most people hate brussels sprouts, but not me. I've found thatif you prepare them right, most people will like them. I use thefrozen brussels sprouts, but you can also use the fresh ones. Placethe sprouts in a pot, add enough water to allow all the sprouts to besubmerged. Bring pot to a boil, and let simmer till the sprouts aretender. Drain the water, then add corn oil, like Mazola (most cookingoils are corn oil). Add enough cooking oil to wet the sprouts, butnot so much that the sprouts are floating in it. Now add some garlicsalt and pepper.......add enough to suit your tastes. Shake the wholemixture so that the ingredients get thoroughly blended, and serve hot. This an old recipe from my mother, and it can be used with anyvegetable, not just brussels sprouts. Just make sure that the cookingoil is a corn oil.
