Dr. Julius T. Strangepork:
Good God!! Who knew the center of the sun made up entirely out of jello!?
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 11:44:52 am)
Heruka:
Hey, only another hour and a half to go. I'm dowmloading a RA live concert and save it. Then I shall turn it into a wav file. I'd like to turn it into an mp3, but I haven't purchased the program. All I have is a cheap freebee.

Chewing Wax™:
Hour and a half to what?
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 3:07:47 pm)
Myk Murphy:
thanks to the person who posted "pigs in space". seeing dr strangepork again made me laugh. which concert are you downloading, heruka, and what tool are you using to convert RA to wav?
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 3:30:22 pm)
Heruka:
I'm converting nbothing now. less than 20 minutes till I recieved the whole file my connection disconnected. I was going to use Streambox. It's a crappy sounding concert, mix that with the fact I don't even like live concerts, I'm not too sad about it though. I was going to just play with new software. Here's Matry Willson-Pipers solo tour. Just him and an acoustic guitar. Cool. I may be able to make the LA show. I should be in Vegas at that time. And 300 miles of desert Isn't too bad. It will be excuse to visit LA like I've wanted to. Oh well.

Dr GB:
Hello darlings. Even though I bet there's no-one here now. I'll be in a foul mood (for a change) this coming week because although I have escaped Olive's clutches I am moving to an office that up till now has been inhabited by a woman who can only eat pitta bread, garlic, and nuts, and who smells of these things and hospital soap. This is a woman who has a box full of empty milk cartons in her office, and a set of curtain poles that she's been meaning to send to her mother. I have to clean up this hell-hole starting tomorrow morning. At the moment all my crap is in my boss's office. Which is nice for him. So have a fab time luvvies and I'll nip into the lounge for a very large drink as and when. Bye.
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 5:10:24 pm)
Myk Murphy:
sounds like a delightfully british version of hell, gb. otherwise, it all sounds like fun. just keep muttering to yourself, "no more olive". it's good therapy, and all of your new colleagues will politely avoid you.
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 5:25:42 pm)
Myk Murphy:
both fletcher's and iota! i may catch one of those. thanks for the update, H.

Chewing Wax™:
That's just about the worst half of so called football I've seen in a while. Now let's sit back and enjoy the Michael Jackson Half Time Extravaganza with chimps and Cher.
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 7:59:50 pm)
Chewing Wax™:
Not a bad second half. Pretty good. Sorry the Titans didn't win Myk.
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 10:00:00 pm)
Heruka:
Yes. Rams won. I think the game made me physically ill. Damn. In todays paper they said the Rams were running 200 to 1 odds in Vegas they would win the superbowl. I guess 3 people bet on it. geeze, quick hundred grand. At a $500 bet. And people scoffed at me when I bet 35 to 1 on the Browns. always bet the long shot. Always. Fish was delectable.. Hint: always marinade fish in Guinness extra stout for 24 before frying. Just a recommendation. Yes. Marty Willson-Pipers solo acoustic is quite good. I dunno if you're familiar with it. Folksy. I'm abiticipating a good tour. He's a rather talented musician. Very good indeed.
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 10:59:34 pm)
Heruka:
No work tomorrow. Or Tuesday. Or for the rest of my life. I'll spend the next couple of weeks getting things together, pre-paying bills etc etc etc.....
(Sun Jan 30, 2000 - 11:01:18 pm)
Heruka:
Anyone want to buy some slighly used furniture? If you look past the offensive and questionable stains. It's not really that bad..... The place looks like Sanford and sons place. Junk, junk, junk. What does George Carlin say? "A home is a place where you store your stuff, while you're out buying more stuff"

Good morning

Sleepy:
Hello.
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 8:40:02 am)
Myk Murphy:
good morning, folks. thanks for the kind words, wax. don't worry... i still won money, just $300 less. hell of a good game, however. still, mcnair is a mediocre quarterback, who found it impossible to find anything worth passing downfield. that last throw to the 5 yard line was painful to watch. did he assume that the rams would step aside while his receiver waltzed in?
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:06:04 am)
Sleepy:
Myk! Did you have a good birthday last week? We forgot and you didn't remind us.
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:19:02 am)
Myk Murphy:
yes, i was a bit of a secret squirrel on that. yes, i had a wonderful birthday, since it landed on a snow holiday! i didn't want you all to make a fuss.
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:25:25 am)
Sleepy:
We haven't received any birthday cake yet. I assume you sent it by Fed-Ex?
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:28:08 am)
Myk Murphy:
i sent it by bicycle courier. it was a bargain. i'm having doubts... it's unlikely that the north atlantic is very kind to spokes and cranks and such.
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:40:30 am)
Cushca:
We weren't sure when to send the stripper. Afternoon bastards.
(Mon Jan 31, 2000 - 9:43:13 am)
Myk Murphy:
now would be a fine time. it's a slow morning here.

I don't believe you have ever experienced Cushca when she's being annoying. It's really, really, annoying.
