Here's a story. One of the guys in the office just got a credit card bill for $3800.00 for some software. It appears that his credit card number has been stolen Turns out, somebody uses a fake AOL account to download and mail a registration for this software. The fake account was had bogus info except that the IP address of the computer used was in the email that was sent to the company that the software was being bought from. They gave our guy the IP address, he types it into an FTP program and bang hello, there's this jerk-off's computer. So, he downloads the entire FTP site and starts looking through the docs - a resume with his address, pictures of a trip to washington, pics of his friends, his girlfriend, etc etc etc. NYPD should be there any minute.
