Working from a car repair garage while our cars get oil changes is a revelation regarding how bad morning tv can be. I fear having a phone call could give the impression to a colleague that watch this nonsense intentionally. Changing oil is something I would do myself, but these companies make it so economical that I'll pay them to do it. A loss leader to get your car into their shop, I'd imagine.

And then they gave me another discount because the second car took longer. I didn't ask for that discount but there it was. But next time the car needs work, I'm heading there, so I guess it's a good strategy overall.
