Yes, it's been an easygoing summer in DC, too, although a bit warmer down here. England only has a day or two more of this abusive heat. I have friends visiting Scotland now but I think they're doing a bit better that far north. They are visiting whisky distilleries so I doubt they'd notice the temperature.
