Alas, the holiday is at an end, as we flew home yesterday. Nine hour flight from Vienna during the day was surprisingly pleasant, apart from more than a bit of turbulence over continental Europe. UK air was much more settled. I waved but I'm not sure if you saw me. That day driving around the Wachau valley was a pleasure. Easter Sunday back in Vienna was fun, with the Easter markets still in full force and a trip to an Imperial museum, too. We returned to an excellent beer garden in the prater amusement park very close to our hotel. I was not expecting 70+F and sunny days with the sunburned face to show for it. It's much cooler and rainy here at home, which seemed much more likely in central Europe.
