We've just had a bonfire. It was grand. Got rid of loads of old paperwork. I found a tremendous stick to prod the embers with. My fire management was excellent, even if I do say so myself.

That's the best kind of bonfire. Apparently I'm at the beach at the same time as Joe. Now, neither of us is running for president. Serious rumors yesterday that the news would drop today, and so it did. We'll see if Kamala keeps the delegates. I have my doubts.

I guess it's kinda hard to accidentally start a forest fire in the UK, although it was dry as a bone when we visited you two years ago.

I can't see Kamala being the chosen one. I would love her to be but unfortunately her approval ratings are in the shitter.

I can see them accidentally putting her forward, but they know it's a bad idea. Some folks are trotting out polling data that shows her in a better position than once thought, but it's still too big a hill to climb. There's also the other awkward reality that she's not a particularly adept speaker and debater.
