Indeed! Starmer and crew are still looking at a big win, right? Does Sunak see any bright spots for the Tories and hence a reason for the vote? On July 4th, no less, which should be a painful reminder of the loss of 13 colonies. In a post-Brexit world, I'd vote for the party driving toward reunification with the USA. If you promise to offer us a functional system of government and a few more bank holidays, we might entertain the idea.

The 1922 Committee were getting oodles of letters so they reckon Rishi shat the bed and called the election before he got binned. He's a fucking joke and his announcement was appropriately hilarious. He looked like he had just got off a log flume and his soundtrack was Things Can Only Get Better, a song solely associated with Labour which was being blasted out of a protester's speaker at the end of Downing Street.
